Since his joining in 1978, Mr. Denzil de Souza, within a short span of time, developed a reputation for outstanding work in International Moving Services. He along with his elder brother and principal business partner – Late Mr. William de Souza, transformed Writer from a single location, 20-employee, single service company into a multi-location, multi-business enterprise with a workforce of over 15,000+ employees.

Mr. Denzil de Souza first started with establishing the Relocations network across India outside Mumbai, and then added the product lines of Domestic & Orientation to what was principally an International Moving business. The Information Management business got incorporated in 1987 under his leadership. In the process, Mr. de Souza designed and built the group’s entire core infrastructure comprising of office and warehouse facilities across India. He further built the Cash Management business in 2001. Since 2005, he played a key role in expansion of global operations in Middle East and Asia. In early 2013, under his guidance, Writer Group forayed into the realty sector with the launch of Hilton Shillim Estate Retreat & Spa, at Shillim.

After spending three successful decades in Executive role at Writer, in order to promote leadership at organization level, he assumed the role of non-executive chairman in early 2012. He transitioned the reins of the business to the boards and a properly institutionalized and professionally led management organization. Today ‘the great entrepreneur’ serves on all Writer Boards providing insight and direction and steers the group’s Investment arm – Writer Holdings.

Mr. SR Iyer is an Independent Director on the Board of Writer Corporation. He has been the former Managing Director at State Bank of India. During his tenure as Managing Director of SBI, he served on the Boards of National Stock Exchange, GE Capital Business Process Management Services Pvt Ltd, State Bank of India (California), and SBI International (Mauritius) Ltd.

Mr. Garfield de Souza is the Managing Director of Writer Business Services, and since the time he joined the group, he has played a pivotal role in taking the group’s operations global. His focus has been to grow the Global Relocations business, manage relations with international customers and partners, and expand to key international markets. He is overseeing the growth of BTR International.

Mr. Gavin de Souza is the Managing Director of Writer Realty, which includes premium apartments for lease and hospitality projects. He is spearheading acquisition and development in various ongoing Realty & Hospitality projects of the group.

Mr. Dayle de Souza, is the Managing Director of Writer Business Services. He leads the Relocations, Information Management and Cash Management businesses apart from the Group functions like HR, IT, Compliance, Infrastructure, Centre of Excellence , Strategy & Marketing. He has completed an Executive Program at Harvard Business School.
